Brian Campbell has retired after 17 long seasons 

After 17 long seasons, the four-time all-star Defenceman who played with Buffalo, Chicago , Florida and San Jose Sharks had decided to call it a career at the age of 38.

He retired and finished his last season as a Blackhawk and a free agent.

He won a Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks back in 2010.

He will join the Blackhawks front office.

He had a wonderful career and it all started when he played for the 67s and was drafted in the 6th round by the Buffalo Sabres.
