Vancouver Canucks and Thomas Vanek have agreed to a one year contract worth $2M.
The 33 year old is coming off a outing with the red wings which he scored 15 goals and having 38 points in which he got dealt at the Trade Deadling to the Florida Panthers in which he dissapeared and only scored 2 goals in 20 games.
The former sniper was interested in playing for Vancouver and wanted to help Canucks recharge their power play like it used to be.
Canucks was top 5 in PowerPlays efficiency for so many years but they haven’t been good the past 3 years.
It may be Vanek’s last season because he is cutting down and slow but we will see how this year turns out.
It will be Vanek’s 7th NHL Year.
